If you are wanting to get into beginner witchcraft, there are a few essential things that you must know about and remember. Without these aspects of beginner witchcraft, you are destined for failure. Here is a list of some of those things you must know about and apply when getting into witchcraft and as a beginner witchcraft practitioner.
The first thing you must understand is the use of energy. Everything is powered by emotion and energy in witchcraft whether you are a beginner witchcraft or an experienced practitioner. Every spell and ritual is fueled by emotion and energy. A ritual with no energy or emotion is about as useful as a car with no gas or motor.
It helps to get proper training and teaching. Of course you can find your way on your own, but it's a whole lot more difficult. Finding a teacher and constantly getting training speeds up the process and helps you learn about areas you need to understand. Books are a great source to learn from and there are great training programs out there for beginner witchcraft.
Start developing a collection of magic tools. Every good witch needs to have specific tools to work with. A wand, athame, candles of multiple colors, a pentacle, an altar, an altar cloth, and a few other items. These are all necessary ritual tools if you are going to be serious about witchcraft. A collection of herbs to use in your rituals also helps. It can get expensive to build your collection of tools, however, they are necessary keys to being serious at beginner witchcraft.
These are just a few of the important aspects. There are other keys that you will learn along the way, but this is a good list to start with. Understand energy, find teachers and resources, and start building a collection of magic tools.
