Our Future in our Hands

A date with Destiny?

I would like to know other people's comments on this blog, I am wondering if people have had thoughts the same.

In today's society, we are taught from a young age to "do as we are told", we are raised with the ideal of what society wants and expects from us, to stay in school, to find a job, to vote, to pay money out to the never ending line of government taxes and service industries for which we rely on and with the hope that they will in turn look after us, to buy, buy, buy.

Unfortunately, society today is breeding more violence, more anger in the youth of today and more deaths due to it. When and how is this spiral downwards going to be reduced? When I was younger we never locked the doors, never stayed at home inside playing video games and where always outside playing and making up our own fun until my mother had to yell at us that it was getting dark and your dinner was getting cold. There was trust and honesty and a will to make things happen for yourself and others. There was pride. Life was sweet and more flowers bloomed.

I believe that the problem of today's social issues lies with our spiritualism or lack there of. The more we are told to conform, the more I feel we are being institutionalised by the powers that be. We are no longer being who we really are, we are becoming someone that somebody else tells us to be (Surface Dwelling). Parent to child exempted when it comes to life lessons.

Don't get me wrong, I am a strong believer in staying at school and learning as much as you can, with all the resources at your fingertips, one would be a fool if you didn't, but I think that people are starting to resent being dictated to by what they think is good for us. We are stuck in a cycle of spending money, of paying out to people or services that we don't necessarily need to get on in this world.

The more we are controlled, the more we lose a sense of who we are and what our path in life should be. We believe we are doing what we want to, but are we? Or are we just doing what everyone expects us to do and to suit who's purpose? Long ago I did the "Stepford wife" life. I cooked and cleaned and went to work to make money to buy things for the house. This is great if it is what you truly want to do, but after a while I lost who I really was and started to question everything.

Today people are angry about something, is it because they cannot be who they want to be? Is it because they have not been given the opportunity to think for themselves? We are an intelligent race on Mother Earth but we have lost our way to truly see the path we should be taking.

We are told Witchcraft is bad... by who and why, a King, a ruler? Funny that it had flourished thousands of years ago but is considered by most as taboo today. Millions of witches were burnt at the stake or murdered in some other appalling way in less than 300 years simply because they lived and believed in a different world. Free thought seems to be dying out but I believe it will be our saviour.

Life is for living not existing.

Its amazing! I totally agree, but what is amazing is that you expressed the same feelings as mine. We HAVE lost control over ourselves to society. In my opinion for thousands of years. As long as there has been civilized society. People expect life to run smoothly. You go to school, get married, have kids, pay taxes, and die. But if something unexpected comes into play, something shocking like witchcraft, homosexuality, or the fight for freedom from slavery and they immediantly want to fight against it. So that everything can go back to "normal". Fear is what drives most minorities to not live out their full potential in life. Fear from the society/government. The government/society wants the people to follow a strict plan. A plan of there OWN course or of what they believe to be a divine plan and they will use any means to make sure the people follow it so that their ideal of peace and righteousness may be. There is a lot of anger in the youth day. Because they feel hopelessness. Hopeless because they feel the world will never change. That there will always be hate and intolerance and that they will never be allowed to be themselves and live their life. I am sorry if I got off topic. But this is what I took from your blog. I find it very refreshing that there are others who think like me. Thanks for sharing.

Well DUH, Most Government Officials Are From The Illuminated, There Following The Original Plan, However Due To Them Seeing The Presence That Made Them The Illuminated, And The Absence Of The One Who Illuminated Them For So Long, They Think They Are The Most Superior Beings Ever, However Someone Needs To Nonviolently Give Them The New Plan.

A Ripple in Time
written by Kindred, December 28, 2008
Thanks Zach, I thought to share my feelings with everyone. It's nice to know I am not alone. I think it is really sad that most people think they are living their own lives but really they are being indoctrinated into Commercialism, it has been the same for hundreds of years, someone is always manipulating someone else for their own gain. Look into the historical past when kings made taxes for the hoards of his people to better HIS life, not necessarily the people's lives. Greed has become the number one vocation for most of the world and people are feeling like giving up. But this time is but a ripple, we just happen to live in it. Soon, there will be change and for the better. Peace will reign supreme for all. I think it will get a bit worse before it gets better tho then they will sit back and think oh crap, we stuffed up.
Norava: If only people would stand up to be counted, to realise this is also their world and they deserve the opportunity in which to live their lives the way they wish. Sorry if I was a little too obvious and short with my blog, I could write a book on what I KNOW about this subject. The power is to be used for all to benefit. "Being superior beings" is their way of protecting themselves from the truth probably because they are afraid of it. Shame they are so insecure to do the right thing instead of following the "Plan". But they have to remember it is is THEIR plan not mine, and ultimately it is up to me whether I follow it or not. Dark times lie in wait for one who thinks they are above the rest and a big wake up call is on the horizon non-violently. Alas, everyone learns at their own pace.

I htink that it goes BEYOND commercialism and "Divine right". We have started the systematic dehumanization of everyone not us.
A loss of respect for life and the feelings of others around us, as well as just plain out not seeing that our actions have consequences is indoctrinated at earlier ages than at any other point in history. We do lip service to respecting other people, but... popular music and video games, television, and even our friend here The internet sever our connections and set us apart from one another.
We have lost sight that we are all connected at the most basic of levels. It sounds funny but... George Lucas had one thing very right in his "Star Wars" saga. The Force. That energetic level that connects all of life, and can be sensed and used to shape more than this world.

We can choose. We can choose to be different, to make a difference, to be connected, and to cause that connection to be contageous.

Did any of this make sense?

Kindred: EXACTLY. I 100% agree with what you say. As long as there have been civilized society people have been under control by government, kings, and other authorities in one way or another. I too see peace and a revolution coming. In MY life time too. In fact I will be one fighting for the rights of the people for justice and freedom for all. I hope we can talk more sometime. We might have a great deal to share.
April: This is very true also and makes perfect sense. People just dont care anymore about anybody or possibly anything. Its almost like some people have no souls. Because they cant make that connection. They wont. They are greedy, selfish people..... corrupted by the dark side. LOL. I also agree with your reference to Star Wars because although it may have been fiction it is very true indeed. We ARE all connected. When you get right down to it we are all the same. We all come from the same background. We are all people. We all have, or start out with, the same value or self worth as any other human being. Most people cant see this, they wont see this. They believe some people are better than others. That some dont deserve freedom or equal rights. But like I told Kindred I believe a revolution is coming and everything will change.

I hope I stuck to the topic mostly. LOL.

Hi April, Yes you are making sense, I agree with you completely. It's the whole human race which is choosing to live on this plane without evolving into what we are designed to do, and it seems to me the numbers are growing (maybe it is just the population). It is going to take something really big to jolt them out of it but I can feel it in my bones that something will change the current way of thinking, in fact I reckon it has already started. Yes you are right the more people that utilise the "Convenience" of computers and mobiles to contact each other, the more they lose their connection with the world as a whole. Some people would probably argue that fact "well at least they are able to still communicate with others far away." understandably but seeing 2 teenagers sitting next to each other on the bus or train texting to each other? What happened to old fashioned talking, we are becoming inept at human contact. The next step will be implants so people can pick up your thoughts, that may be a possibility in the future but I prefer to do it a la naturally. Issac Asimov was the first Sci Fi person to write about the positronic brain (Data the humanoid robot - in Star Trek)so fiction is not that far away from fact, look at PC's, they can be adapted to work by voice command! We are being desensitized to violence on the TV and internet as well as computer games at an alarming rate, what are our children in training for? They should be learning how to survive without TV or fast food. It is true, some people see the force as Aura's, coloured energy fields surrounding every living thing as you know, but you must vibrate at a higher level than the norm to notice it. When my flowers/plants/vegies die, I die a little with them specially if I sense it is my fault.
ZACH: You are right in your way of thinking, To see the future we must also learn from the past and correct the errors along the way for the two are one. I have an extremely strong drawing to the Medieval times of Europe, sometimes I feel I am still there, I know I have lived in this era in a past life or two, cause I have a fear of Fire and drowning which is uncanny. I feel that it was because of this time that I cannot heal from the phobias. I was probably burnt at the stake in one life then drowned for being a witch in another. What people have to do is to think for themselves when searching what path to take, you will know because it will FEEL right to you. We have much more that 5 senses, our sixth was lost as we did not require it in this world, who knows how many others we have and have not tapped into. When in touch with the forces it's a pure energy that is hard to explain. It's like standing near(100M) a lightning bolt and feeling the buzz of energy coming up through the ground (happened to my father and I on his country property). I for one hope the whole world can find the connection with this world.

A Date with Destiny
written by Elvira Bickle, January 05, 2009
I too remember those days when doors where never locked, when love, care and compassion ruled. Today all people are always angry and miserable.

We are all connected to a force. We believed in the force of light, which clearly was our life force. What if the force had changed. By recent events on every level of existence, is it possible to assume that the force of darkness had conquered earth? Could this be the explanation for a downfall of all societies earthwide?

What are your thoughts on the matter.

Peace

Vera, I don't think that it's a matter of "light against dark". I think it's a matter of connection vs. isolation. After all how can a person not be angry and miserable when they are all alone in the world and the entire world is against them. Small and insignificant specks in an empty universe whose lives have no meaning and no purpose other than pain and suffering. Destined to be the eternal pawns in the struggle of good and evil, and no matter what you do you will never be good enough. You will never be granted perfection.

This is the prevailing attitude and it is what they mean when they talk about "Christian Family values". This thought process and philosophy serves to divide and conquer.

There is nothing in the "dark" that is so big and scary that you can't overcome it. There is no ultimate "evil" no boogy man. The only thing in the dark is the thing you don't want to look at for whatever reason. But it is the fear of the dark that keeps us running in circles, waiting for the sky to fall. Too scared and to busy trying to protect what we have or getting what we want to think about what we need and how things really are.

Step outside the boxes that have been constructed for you. You will find a brave new universe that is ready and waiting for you to join in the dance of the elements and the song of the stars.

Light Verses Dark
written by Kindred, January 12, 2009
Hi Vera,
I do not believe in Good verses Evil as I also do not believe there is light and darkness. Good is how the world should be, Evil is what we named the "lack of goodness". Same goes for light and darkness. You can measure light intensity but you cannot measure dark. Just a humans view of Polarities, we need to name it something.
Hi April, yes you are right with the connection verses isolation theory, I have seen it first hand. A little boy of 8yrs old, treated extremely poorly by his parents, told by his mother she does not even like him (At 8!) A profound effect that snowballed into a self-destructive young man. A very sad young man who was forever striving for that connection that he was missing, forever searching for something he had no idea what. All he needed was to be shown Love unconditionally, understanding and trust to break free from his self imposed cell on earth. Breaking down the walls that humans build to hide from their fears takes time and lots of patience, but it can be achieved. The healing process will continue on as required, but a better man he has become.
"And the world will break free from the Dark, and there will be joyous song and much happiness and the great archaic mother will smile down upon us for she will know we will take care of her from now on, and so the new cycle of life begins."
