Yep Rig, Start doing your research into the God and Goddesses. Don't forget the cultures they come from. take into account where people lived what their climate was like, how they dealt with day to day life. for example...

We all grew up with the tales of "hell" the firey pit and constant heat darkness and torture. In researching some things I found that "hell" is a derrivation of the Norse Goddess Hella, she lives in Helhame, not really the place you want to end up. Half of her hall is always in darkness. Punishment there is dealt out not with heat and fire, but with cold, darkness, and drowning repeatedly. However Helhame is also the place you go if you are going to be reborn. Balder sits at Hella's right hand waiting for his rebirth, after Ragnarok.

Now can you possibly tell me why there's a difference between the two "Hells"?
