I just have that thing about hospitals, surgery etc, etc. if there is a different way i would rather do that. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I rather not be cut up if given a choice. I guess that's why I grow old gracefully with wrinkles and gravity taken over.

Here in the States you can buy green tea bottled up like sodas. Since I live in the South we drink mostly sweet iced tea.

We can here too I think, In the cities. I live out in the woods though In a small village, But I like it here. The nature is untouched and wonderful. Sadly they will soon build a motor sport arena all over it.

The usual way of making tea here is buying it in "paper bags" that you drop down in hot water. Or to buy the tea unpacked from a "health-food store" (I think thats the same kind of store at least)

I like to press my own, but it's not easy to get anything out here without a car. We have a small store with food for the day in. But nothing extra.

I usually drink Chamomile tea, I like that taste. And peppermint isn't that bad either, but the taste is kind of dominant. Well, I guess you know

So... Most women have a knee jerk reaction when you start talking about mastectomies (surgical removal of the breast).

It's not really anything you can explain easily but it would be like most mens reaction to talking about an orchidectomy ( the surgical removal of one or both testicles).

It's hard to get cancer in something that's not there . Cancer it's self is a whole long topic that can drag out. I'm not certain that everyone would like to hear it. Let's just say that there are genetic links as well as immunological links to cancer. You can't live your life worrying about it cause worry causes stress and stress effects your immune system. It's another one of those cycles that can be avoided by just taking things one day at a time.

Thanks for putting up the herbal remedies. I'm in post-menopause and the valarian root helps settle some symptoms and helps me sleep.

I do not like taking medicine. I'm my doctors worse nightmare with it.

However, do you know of any books or websites that would teach me how to grow my own herb garden. I tried so many times and it always fails. So many websites have different information and I don't like trying to grow a garden just to kill the plants in the process. Mainly, I have been asking the guys at Home Depot but they do not seem to be able to help me.

On another note, since you are so helpful, do know of any rituals or activities that help teach children wicca. Mainly the basics for now.

Sorry about the other thread, it was not my intention for it to be a political thing. It was really just a conversation that went to long. I was hoping to get his views on the magic portion and how he works with energy. Sometimes conversations get sidetracked. He is really very interesting and I liked his honest viewpoints.

The best book on gardening that I've found is "garend at Dragon's Gate" or something close to that. Not becasue it taught me about specific plants or anything but because it taught me about the "forgotten" parts of gardening. The observation of light patterns, paying attention to your plants (they will talk if you will listen), judging and testing your soil, and the creation of soil. That stuff. It's a rather Zen approach.

As for kids.... How old are they? It's more important than you may think.

's Ok about the other thread. Thanks.

Thanks I try out the book. Maybe by Spring I'll be able to manage a garden. I'm thinking the problem is the soil but the guys at Home Depot Home Improvement store say I'm doing everything right.

My daughter is 8 years old and is such a child of nature. She has been since birth.
