well, to me a balanced diet is not having too much or too less of all types of food. i am not telling people to just live on fruits and vegetables but i am telling people to have MORE of fruits and vege and very little fatty foods. to me processed, packed, and junk food is a BIG NO.
from the age of ten till the age of 13, i made my health crap by eating all the unheatlhy food i told you about. plus, i ate extremely spicy food (i couldnt live without spice back then) then i got GORD ( gastro-Oesophageal Reflux Disease). then slowly, my immune system became weak (because of all the wrong food i ate) and i use to be sick with one thing or another all the time. along with this stuff happening to me, my body stopped accepting other foods like:
tomato, youghurt, peanuts, chocolate, junk food, fizzy drinks, water melon, pineapple, oranges, canned food, cheese, cakes, creamy food, cucumber, butter and Many, MANY more. if i atethese things then i would get acid reflux for days or i would get cold and soon fever.
the doctors couldnt figure out whats wrong with me... so i just couldnt eat that food at all...
oneday, mum decided to do ayurveda. then as she studied about these things and saw people who were similar to me... then she decided to make my diet better and startd giving me herbs like triphala and around 27 other herbs which started effecting me slowly but worked.
now i am still recovering but i can eat a few things i havent eaten for years like cucumber, youghurt, peanuts, oranges , pineapples, watermalons and maybe a few more.i still cant eat heaps of things but it has only been a year since i have started taking herbs and havin a good diet and look at the result!
my GORD is almost gone and i can eat the things that i gave up on... plus, i am not being as sick as i used to be.
this is why is am saying : dont eat junk food and preserved food. eat mor vege and fruits. follow the food parymid.keep a balanced diet if YOU wanna live longer without health problems!!!
