Yeah, sometimes we just have to step back and look at the whole picture.....and take a big breath. I'm glad that everything will turn out ok and that you just overreacted a bit. Better than the other way around I reckon.

Oh, and about the Christian thing.... don't put to much into it. I just don't like it when certain nomination have to go around to try to save us poor people when in truth they only do it for their own 'salvation'.

I walked into the funniest thing yesterday afternoon...
I got to my Jehova Witness house to find a couple of cute YOUNG Mormon missionaries sitting in their living room. These two faiths were having a knock down drag out (verbally of course, my 80 year olds couldn't have stood up physically)

It was funny watching these two "Christian" denominations sit and call each other wrong, nonsensical, and "the work of the devil".

Religion is a matter of perspective just like most other things. I found the greatest fullfillment and happiness when I came to realise that we can't walk the same paths. We have to allow those around us to come to "God" (Gods)their own way.
The universe is big enough for us all.

R, I know what you mean about the Christian thing and I totally understand you. IDK if you remember about when I was saying about the people I was locked up with and how they would cuss, fuss, fight, etc...Mon thru Sat and then on Sunday they would roll around on the floor, lay hands, save, preach etc.... Then go and start all over again as soon as they hit the door. Many would use their church official status to route chow lines, go out of bounds etc and all the while they preached to everyone else especially us lesbians about hellfire and damnation. It killed me. I had to laugh all the time. Whatever, that's their bag. As for the situation that April came upon, that is hysterical. There is nothing like a great debate about politics and or religion. I love it. When people go all grand poo bah on me about their personal belief it is so annoying but so funny at the same time. Part of me wants to zap out but then I remember that we are all people and all entitled to an opinion and that no matter what we are all loved. It is a hard thing to let people be who they are and to let them be where they are but I am sure others have felt the same about me at some time. So, what do you all think of the 2010 prediction. I definitely see evidence of the world going to pieces but I truly believe it is one of two things. I think that A) The world which is a living breathing organism is rebelling for our years of rape and pillage to her lands and resources or that like any living body, she must change and transform (almost like a shedding of skin so to speak) and that what we call a disaster is only the earth growing, changing, and transforming. I dont however think that we are headed for Armageddon. I think that we are heading for a spiritual evolution and that hopefully there will finally be the heaven on earth so to speak or at least a very positive beginning to it and that all of the stereotypes, prejudices, and persona's will fall away and we will all see that we really all are one. What do you guys think.

After lots of thouhgt and research I found that there is one little phrase that gets left out. Just four words makes all the difference. That is "As we know it". The ancient predictions say that life as we know it will come to an end. For some of those peoples it already has, so who knows.

I do know that I'm not worried about it. What will happen will happen. We have other things to deal with right now. So let the "chicken littles" run around shouting about climate change and the world ending. I know that momma is going to make everything ok.

Besides I don't think that we have satisfied her desire for plastic yet.

That's true and also a lot of got mixed up in trabslations and so forth....
My two cents worth is this...
The world approches the end of a cycle, but not the end of time itself. The seasons turn and the years pass. The young grow old and want to sleep and the sleeping ones wake up to resume their task. That is the natural order of things. One cycle ends but another will begin. Time, as it always does, will continue. Time has no beginning nor an end.

So, whatever will be will be. Nothing we can do about it.

Hi girls, okay, so that is a good way to look at things and it falls in with what I think also. The end of the world as we know it. I like that. Yep, there is nothing we can do about it but I do hope that it is an awakening to better things. Even if our world were to physically end, I hope out descendants learn new and better ways to go about things. I also hope that all of this apocalyptic hype stops as well. That is a scary thought that we may have to fight any more that we do now for our survival. I for one dont want to live in a world where I have to sleep with one eye open and rove in bands of armed people to forage for water. If you think about it, its really like more barbaric times. Tribe against tribe, armed people going into uncharted land fighting for life giving resources. Sounds like cave man days doesn't it.I do have some good news to share. I am alone for a week while my girlfriend is on a business trip and even though she left me some cash, I was getting low and it mayn't lasted until she got home. Well I went to the store today and I decided to play 50 cents on my house number. Well, guess what? It hit and now I am 40 dollars richer. Thank the Goddess because I was just telling her I needed some money and asked for her help. Awesome or what. Anyway, I will see you all later. Thanks for the Xian definition and the clarity on 2010.
