Vera. I belive that when you do a spell. You manipulate the course of universe. You will get somthing wouldn't get in the present course. You create an alternative reality wich will be the actual reality. And sometimes that takes long time. I believe it depends on how many threads that is needed to rearrange. And of course, with training and faith you will do things faster and more effectively.

For example, what is the probibility that I will be overuned by a car when I walk with my dog tomorow? I need to get out on the road exactly the same time as onother desides to drive there. And it must be so exact timing that no one of us can avoid it. I would say it isn't any big risk. But still it happens. And with a protection spell I believe that I can do a little ajustment in the course of actions so that I or the driver do somthing 10 sekunds longer and there won't be any accident.

If you learn the course of consiqueses of your spell you will do I think it will work better. But thats takes experience to know. You need to try and then try again. I can't tell you about a spell that you need to do. Becouse even if I would have done it myself it would be individuel experience. You may not experience same thing as me.
Keep going and be strong

I came across the 7 witches site. They offer free spells which are cast by a warlock/alchemist. Is a warlock not a satanist?

Best wishes Vera

This is what I found....

Warlock - Definition

Warlocks are, among historic Christian traditions, said to be the male equivalent of witches (usually in the pejorative sense of Europe's Middle Ages), and were said to ride pitch-forks (six foot two-tined forks, for manoeuvering unbound hay) instead of broomsticks. In some pop culture TV shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Bewitched, the case is that warlocks are male witches. The TV show Charmed is more accurate to Wicca, wherein a warlock just means "Traitor to an oathe", they can be male or female just like a witch (good or neutral) can be male or female. By this definition, a warlock is an evil witch. A more correct male equivalent of "witch" is "wizard".

A possible origin
However, this may be a new meaning, as the frequent use of "warlock" to describe a male witch is largely based on Hollywood scriptwriters, especially those writing for the 1960s sitcom, Bewitched1.

Among a few traditions of neo-pagans, a "warlock" is a punishment ceremony, not a person. In the ceremony a person's access to magickal power is "locked" and he or she has no ability to perform effective magickal spells, or have access to the energies at all. This is regarded, by those who believe in it, as one of the most severe punishments that can be meted out among the neo-pagan community.

Many neo-pagans consider the word an insult, probably because of its etymology. The word itself comes from a Scottish word meaning "oathbreaker" or "liar"2. However, one source (www.ladyoftheearth.com/witch/warlock.txt) suggests that the word may come from the Old Norse Vard-lokkur, "caller of spirits".

Other possible origins
There is another, folk-etymology version for the origin of the word warlock, coming from Old English 'wær-loga', the man of the logs, alluding to the small pieces of wood the Anglo-Saxon and Scandinavian priests and wise men used to divine by means of the runes. This seems to have been a slang word of Christian coinage pejoratively used on those who remained Pagan and practising the art of the runes. By extension, it became a synonym of sorcerer and wizard, and also of a typical medieval diabolical male witch (in this sense either able to fly in several ways, see Sabbath, witchcraft). The use of the word witch to name both witch and warlock is turning the word into an archaic one.

In ancient Greece, in the Bible, and in other ancient cultures, diviners would magically predict the future for a king or warlord. This was especially important before a war, when the king wanted to know if he will win or lose. The king would order his forces to attack if his diviners said he will win; or would talk peace if the diviners said he would lose. Whatever the diviner predicted, the war was considered locked one way or the other. This is another possible origin of the word 'war-lock'

Why are people so fast to assume that someone is a Satanist?

In my experience, if a person is a Satanist they will more than gladly tell you so.

And then everyone looks at that particular religious path with such fear and trepidation.... When they are nothing to fear, any more that a Strega, seidkona, shaman, take your pick.

Thinking about it... It's entirely possible the modern word "warlock" came from the word Vard-lokkr. But I still wouldn't walk into any group of Neo-Pagans and call anyone that. I also think that if anyone is brandishing that term around then they probably have no idea what they are talking about. Just like Alchemists don't cast spells. They are concerned with chemistry and the purification of the material into it's highest potential. It takes years of dedicated study and research to become an alchemist.

So I guess what I'm saying here is that what you found is more horse s*^t. People trying to make money off of the despirate and gullible.
