JULIEN, I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING LAST NIGHT. I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED BUT THE SITE ISN'T THE SAME SINCE IT WAS OF THE WEB. HOPEFULLY IT WILL CHANGE.
I'VE BEN A LITTLE BUSY MYSELF. HAD TO PUT UP POLE BEANS, SQUASH. ALSO HAD TO TRY ONIONS AND GARLIC. THE PLUMS ARE FALLING OF THE TREE, TOO AND IT IS HOT AS HADES IN MY PART RIGHT NOW. WELL, ANY IDEA OF A TOPIC LET US NOW. PEACE, ROMANA

Thanks for the comment. Glad to hear your garden is doing well. Our herbs have got a bit out of control this year with all the rain, but the foxgloves are in fine flower.

By my standards it can get quite hot here, but I have always felt uncomfortable in hot weather so I am quite uncomfortable at temperatures where friends from the Carolinas feel the need to wear sweaters. A bit of wimp when it comes to heat, me.

Sunday is also our wedding anniversary, so it's a double celebration for us. Hope you have a good solstice too.

It's just that life has taken such a turn that I sometimes have to choose between computer time and sleep. Morpheus and his sirens song always wins.

Heck I'd even forgotten that Midsummer was upon us, much less not having time for my garden this season. I'm not complaining though. I know that what I'm doing right now is needed and appreciated.

It has me thinking though about what happens at the end of life and all of the changes we have to go through. Preparation for that transition can be difficult and painful as we try to finish or fix what we have started. And here you go sweet Julian, and pick the image of a sunset to start this thread.

Im still around some, been busy working on this old house and the garden is really taking off now.
Had a job for a little while but the manager turned out to be a total jerk so i quit, had another job but it didnt work out because we were under bid, just more of the same ol same ol, hope everyone is doing good
