Thanks April and Everyone, I really look forward to logging on every night and hearing what you all have to say. It is so nice here right now. We just had another snow storm and its like a blizzard outside. My only regret is the homeless kitties outside. I wish I could find them and make sure they are okay. I worry because they hide in this weather and dont even come out for food that I put out. Soon as this weather breaks I will go and try to find them. I already lost one this summer. Anyway, does anyone here like aromatherapy for treatment. Personally I never put much stock in aromatherapy but lately I find that the more I understand it, the more it works. For instance, I have insomnia and I have been taking melatonin treatments with Lavender and Chamomile and that stuff really works. It makes me so tired I feel like I am drunk. I actually get a great nights sleep when I do the treatment. I have also recently discovered the art of Japanese tea rituals. I love it. Well I am off to go play in the snow at night. I LOVE aromatherapy!!
I work with elderly veterans who have some sort of brain(cognitive) of emotional (PTSD type)disabilities. Of course several have had strokes as well, and aromatherapy works GREAT in these houses as well as mine. It can help relieve stress, help clear cognition, and contributes to a general overall sense of well being. It even helps those who live with my "little old men". I have found that it even helps the cats in the house as well as the dogs. Everyone is just a little calmer and more happy.

Don't worry about the kitties... Cats are tougher than dogs and they will come out when they know they won't get their paws wet. They are probably holed up under a house with a weeks or months supply of "mouse" treats.
