It's not lost. There are even some here that practice it. But it is dangerous, and not at all like they make it look like in the movies or books.

It is an advanced shamanic technique, and people have been know to lose their souls doing it. You should never attempt to shift alone. You shouldn't attempt to shift untill you have mastered other forms of shamanic journey work.

This is one area where there is no substiute for hard work and practice.
