NOT MUCH OF NOTHING. WAS JUST WONDERING IF ANYBODY HAS SOMETHING ON THAT. THE CELTS CLAIMED SOME WITCHES WHERE ABEL IN THE DARK AGES AND ALSO SOME NATIVE AMERICANS BUT THAT'S ABOUT ALL I GOT, TOO. MAYBE SRW KNOWS.

I've got something for you!Try searching for aswang. This is what they call "creatures of the night" in the Philippines. They can, as told, shapeshift to animals or persons they want to copy. These people are supposed to have powers from the dark forces and to continue having this powers they need to feed from human organs specially the liver, heart and blood. Also there are some researches done on this folk tale that aswangs do not shapeshift but actually control their victims minds to think that they look like a ferocious animal or a loved one in need of help.

SO ACTUALLY MORE LIKE A VAMPHIRE?

hmm..I don't know much about the shapeshifting, other than that of the Native Americans....and most of what i've heard around these parts on that, are ....to just steer clear.

There are some story's...about some native's who were running from the law out on the reservations...but the law lost track of them, and the only thing they seen out there, was a crow and a badger...

Then one night hubby and i were taking a drive...just meandering around...and TONS of Birds flew out of the sage brush...odd looking birds though....especially since it was pitch black...they sort of flew like bats...but were Way bigger than what I want a bat to be...
