I hope everybody had a good weekend and a blessed Mother's Day.I just thought to tell ya'll about my weired encounter yesterday afternoon.....
As always, on weekends, I had the shop open and I was sitting on the front porch. My hubby was way back on the property cutting grass. A young man was walking along the highway past me. Normally people just don't walk along the road like this...specially around here. I saw him walking past the house on the other side of the road past the crossroad and went into the house to do something. A few minutes later the hairs in the back of my neck stood up and there that guy was standing right in front of the front door.(A line of brick dust is there. one never knows..lol) Well, to make a long story short, I ask him if I could help him and he just stared at me. I felt kinda creeped out and then a gust of wind(????) blew the door shut smack in his face! Folks, I swear, by the time I opened the door, he was gone and the Mexicans pulled up and were asking me what had happened. They always call me 'Senora Bruja'.
It sound like I'm crazy but I still can't shake that weired feeling....Guess it's about time to get some more protection going....or maybe next time I take the dogs with me...Romana

I think somebody is messing with you, did the Mexicans just drive up and ask you what is happening, if so sounds like they knew something was about to happen, some people like to play tricks on others.

No, they had nothing to do with it....they come by every Sunday on their way into town. It most likely was just somebody passing by and stoned I'm over it now but I keep the Pit w/ me

Romana, you put the brick dust down for a reason - and it worked. It sounds like you're questioning that. Don't lose faith in your own good work

Be careful with the pit. That just might get you sued - especially if the small town law inforcement is, shall we say, of questionable intellect.
