Some say that black magic can lead to very bad endings. What do they mean? What could happen?

I have no clue....Who says that anyways? Everybody has their own beliefs. In my opinion it is just the Wiccan and New Age Crafters who say something like that in order to get their philosophy across. Why don't you want to use something that is avalible to you? You can always protect yourself etc.

no kidding, Hell is real, At least in my world. No! I'm no Christian and don't respect the almighty god at all. I think he is selfish, acts like a child and in general pretty fucked up. (there! Now I go to hell!) Here we had Aesir faith Before we where forced to be Christians. And those gods where actually grown ups up did something. (I don't follow that religion either)

Back to the topic, Bad thing will happen even if you don't use magic. Thats life. It's only that if you drive a car drunk before age 16 and without lifebelt, well...that might just end bad.

If you ask me what i Personally beleive I beleive black and white is just two labels. Words in mind and mouth. Nothing more. Nothing less (word is power). Maybe a way to keep covens from spiting up, I don't know? To me, magic is magic. White magic is as dangerous as black and can end as badly.

If white magic is to heal. Then think if one of the terrorist that flew one of the plane into world trade center was deadly sick (probably something like that or very poor) If someone healed him in good will, so that he later could take thousand of lives. The one who healed him actually killed thousand of humans just because she wanted to be good and heal the man that had it so hard. (Yes, even the terrorists is humans that lives very hard lives. It's all about politics and religion "which is politics"

Everything you do in life could end bad. If you want a safe life I suggest to follow the society. look around you, do and say as everyone else. Listen to the politics and make yourself beleive that what they say is true. that the world is simple and only one way is freedom and right.

Or you could take risks. Live the life, Coase in real life outside the politics, religions and even the law, are a very scary world with so much untested ground. Just trow yourself out there and se how long you can survive. Thats what life is about. surviving, feeling, experience. Not do the same job in 40 years and die of depression.


Well, to do all this in topic. The ones who call it black and white magic, that is the ones who control the mass. and the ones who just follow the lead.

The ones who lives there own lives. Listen to there own bodies and dreams. For us, there is only the truth. Our truth! And it's individual.

Aleister Crowley and Magical Ethics
In his 1904 work The Book of the Law, Crowley wrote, "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law." Crowley's perspective was that self-service was the only consideration for casting spells. He was more concerned with the ends than the means, and did not consider causing harm to be inherently evil.


This article strikes me, on the whole, as being a bit strange, but this passage in particular. Didn't Crowley define "Will" as being "your true purpose", rather than "What you want"? That would sort of undermine the rest of the point wouldn't it?

The rest of the article, which may accurately reflect the range of opinions currently around, did little to help.

Anyway, I'd like to digress briefly and ask what are the dangers of Black Electricitye? I've heard this great power can be used to heat and light homes, make roads safer, power machines which save lives, and practitioners speak of this as White Electricitye. On the other hand, there are evil practitioners of the art, who use this sacred power to kill. Some practice overtly, by strapping human beings into a chair and, after appropriate incantations, cause the dread power to flow through their victims. Others, use strange, hand held devices to incapacitate people on the street, or even in their own homes. Some use this power to construct engines which could destroy millions of people, or the world. Worse still, some make glowing devices which feed the masses with information about how they should think and what they should buy, causing untold misery around the globe. What are we to do with these Black Electricityeans?

But then, just the other day, I heard someone (who claimed to be a member of a Judaic Cult which believed the Messiah had already come - doh!)saying that it was right to fasten certain people into a chair and use the dread arts to destroy them. And that death would only be rained upon the unrighteous by the engines of war, so that was alright too.

What do we conclude? Well, looking at the use of electricity in this way seems a little barmy to say the least, so why is magic so often classed in this blinkered black and white model? The answer is that people who think in a Judeo/Christian western mindset are trying to answer the question. They live in a miserable world where everything is good or evil, for or against, and yes, even Black and White. And because most practitioners of magic answering the question are from this background, their answers tell you just how well they've done in freeing themselves of early conditioning.

There is no sensible way to define Black and White magic, because the whole idea is the product of a way of thinking alien to nature.

Once you start to break free from this mode of operating you'll have the answer to the original question. What are the dangers of Black Magic? Whatever you believe them to be.

Some where from this comes the modern Wiccan Rede.

It then should follow that we can do no "evil" as long as we follow the law, supposing that we have taken the time to have controll over our selves first.

I really don't know what specificlly A. Crowley ment.....
The point for me was that I just wanted to show the opinions of different people on the "black/white" issue.
I guess that makes sense since I'm a bit in the fog (flu)from all the meds....Bare with me here
