I believe transference of illness is possible. You have to be careful what you are doing in the healing sector.

My personal thoughts on healing are, you should consult a doctor, take his medication and let magic assist the natural healing process.

Hello. I'm new here too. But I believe people can heal other people. I remember once as a child, my uncle brought my cousin over in the middle of the night with an ear infection that was so bad there was blood and pus running from my cousins ear. My dad woke me in the middle of the night and told me to touch her eas and pray. I prayed until the bleeding stopped. A few minutes passed. My cousin said she was not in pain any more. The next morning her ear infection was completely gone. I don't know what I did that night or any of the other times that I have done the same thing with other people. I don't talk to anyone about this. Not even my shrink. I also seem to feel most people and I know things sometimes. Just "know". I hope this helps you in your research.

Yeah that's what they mean.

It can happen, that is why washing your hands is very important. You can pick up not only microbes and get ill or make someone else ill, but you can pick up the symptoms of the illness you were trying to heal. I learned a couple of hard fast rules for this...

Never internalize the energy you are displacing. in other words Don't take the illness into you in the first place.

Never use your personal (life) energy to do any healing work. Let the Universe provide it just be the conduit.

Understand that "healing" sometimes means dying. Sometimes the patient is far to ill and it is their time. For these healing is an easy and painless transition from this life to the next.

Vera is right too though. Doctors are an important part of all of this. Any chronic and serious illnesses need to be treated by him/her as well. And while you can always get second oppinions... Any one who tells you to completely blow off what your doctor has told you does not have your best interest at heart. Alternatinve healers and Doctors should work together in concert with one another, not be in competition.

I agree. A doctors care is important with any illness. I haven't learned how to block my self from internalizing sometimes. At least I feel that is what happened. Like this old lady who was sick with a lung infection and she has copd. of course her doctors care is important but I have developed the lung infection and she is well. she still has copd but the lung infection is gone. Just like that. I am seeing a doctor for the lung infection.

I too am like you Angelface and have never talked about what I can do until recently when it's crossed over into my life so much so that I can't hide it anymore. Now the people who were my close friends mostly feel unrest and fear when they are around me. I too have had the problem of taking on someone else's illnesses in order to fix them. Sometimes to the point of throwing up blood to help them. I have learned not to take it into myself as much now for simple things but big things make me very ill so I can definately see the potential to die saving another. How I don't get as sick now I cannot tell you, it seems to be just sheer will...lol.

But so far in my research I still have not found anyone (whether it be willing or not) that will admit that they can do this.
Surely some of us here are willing to admit what they can do isn't there???
