We mustn't be complacent though because it is going on in Africa. The psychological mechanism that lets humans do these things is present in us all.

I GUESS THE REASON IT BOTHERS ME THAT MUCH IS THAT MY PATH ORIGINALLY CAME FROM AFRICA (WITH OTHER INFLUENCES) AND THE ONLY REASON THOSE CHILDREN ARE ACCUSED OF WITCHCRAFT IS BECAUSE THEIR GUARDIANCE WERE CONVERTED TO CHRISTIANITY. THE FACT THAT THIS IS DONE TO INNOCENT CHILDREN MAKES ME VERY ANGRY.THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO HELP THEMSELVES AND ARE BEING TRAUMATIZED AND ABUSED. APPARENTLY THE GOVERMENTS OF THOSE AFRICAN COUNTRIES ARE NOT HELPING AND ARE MOST LIKELY LINING THEIR OWN POCKETS LIKE THOSE SO-CALLED PRIESTS. What are the children actually guilty of? nothing more than being starved half to death. I doubt seriously that these children have the ability to concentrate long enough to complete one spell. Since the Congo has passed the law why is it so hard to stop all the stupidity? Like the middle ages where witch hunts were rampant the people are ignorant and uneducated.

In come the pentacostals, freshly fired up with new zeal from the Satanic Abuse Myth which spread like a plague through the western churches causing death and misery in the west. The local pentacostals, blend together the local beliefs in spirits with their missionary zeal, and suddenly every misfortune has a supernatural (and Satanic)cause. Much like some of the people who have posted problems on the forum here, but who are clearly naive and misinterpreting normal events as curses etc., in Africa at the moment, this thought process is writ large. So they look for a culprit. The kids are clear targets, and fear and superstition do the rest. And so on around the world wherever extreme monthiestic beliefs take hold, death and persecution follow. The real authors of the tragedy in many African states are the people who promoted the whole Satanic Ritual Abuse Myth some years ago in the west.
