I recieved acquired my name becouse that is what the spirits decided to call me.. I didn't have much of say in it.. But then again I didn't have a lot to say about being sloted out for a whole lot gifts/headaches.

So shadowwalker, It's time to research what that name means.
Yeah, it has a meaning attached to it. A very deep one.

I acquired my name over time. My family, friends and clients were constantly saying that I have the perfect touch. So I went into a meditation and was told that Perfectouch is who and what I am and will always be. I now feel complete.

I have been thinking a lot lately, and the name Tirl came up in my life a few days ago... A cut on my arm. Sight and Tirl, are the names that keep coming up! I have no idea what my true name is...

"Shadow walker" and Wiccan can coincide, but there is much more to it than most would think. Taking on this name is a rather weighty thing. Just like when I took my name... Hero. And like when I was given HeidR. Both more than just names they come with great responsibilities. As do all names.

I was given two names first is Dovefeathers second was just shown to me a few weeks ago & is Isis,she gave me this name in my dreams.
Next to the preson that sees wolf there is a Native American story about the White Wolf Women,she is a healer from mamy generations ago & she is trying to gather the true white wolf wemen that is to travel the red road.
It is know that most have lost there way & she is comming in our dreams to gather those of pure heart that can restore this belief once again.
Its an honor when she comes in your dreams because she is gathering you & whom ever else.

In my early studies and in early workings with spirits of the dead I was seeking my path and trying to find what I was. My tarot readings, my occult numerology and my spirit works all continued to lead back to the same place in the crossroads. The word that kept coming up was "balance". I was being directed to find my balance. That has become a life long work. The name Scarlette does not mean balance but it does have significance. In magic I am not white nor black centered between. On the path, I am not red nor pink but rather crimson or scarlet. Scarlette traditionaly meant red or someone who sews clothes of red. In just definition Scarlet is many tints and shades of red. Scarlette is the spelling that coincides with my numerology charts. So it is that simple, I am many shades and tints and I have found my balance within.

I like what was said about Wiccan names.I also think a name is . just that . a name and that name as was said ."it is a reminder of who you choose to be."

I have been called Ghost for many many years by my instructors and this is the name that I use most frequently. In being a Ghost that means that I have no real substance but rather a lot of learning in my head. I cannot interact with the world but must always be part of it. My role is to observe and gain knowledge not to force any issue. A shadow walker is close to what I am but not what I do. My color is clear and I follow the path of Knowledge. My spells take place on the Astral Plane not the Physical Plane. I have the skills to pass the physical plane to the astral plane my native home with ease not seen in years. I am learning the lore of knowledge to pass what I have learned to many many students while being a student. Perhaps some day I may interact with the real world and have a real name.

What would You call someone who has had the same spirit guide/protector/tracher/Pain in the ass for 50 years (Thanksgiving day. 11/27/195. I use magick but have no need of wand and all the other thing that a witch needs to use. I make Wands and Staffs for others but I don't need them. I can sit in a crowded room full of people talking and haveing a drink and still use my magick. The only thing some might sense is me powering up. I can cross the realms as easy as one might cross a room. My magick Comes from my soul, heart, mind, body & spirit. Many of the spells I know you will not find any book. I had to go find & get them. I blend Science and Magick togather. It was because of witches & spirits that I'm who & what I am today. I started out studing Para-Psyhcology, Psyhcology, Meta-Physics and I was going to be a psycologist or a meta-physics teacher. I look for the truths. No truth is black or white. It's all shades of gray. I take no part in the cosmic game between Good & evil. I walk the middle ground. I've had to fight many a battle to get where I'm at now and right now I have about three witch covens that think that I should tell them some of my secerts since I'm older and they would like to get them before I move on... I've always said that the powers that be up stairs had a wicked sense of humor.. I never asked for the name, gifts/curses or the path I've had to walk. If you want to know more about me just ask..

Interesting comments about names. True names do come from inside and when ur ready it will be revealed to you. But you must be aware of the message. I am still searching for mine but i need to chant and mediate to form the balance of what every one is talking about. Then i know it will be revealed to me. So open ur minds: feel and listen.

I do agree that by whatever name you are given or pick comes with alot of responsibility. Names have characteristics and properties attached to them. My names were given to me in drawing down rituals. The first one was Lotus Minx. The second one is Linx. This is just a combination of the two. My nickname in elementary school was Garfield so Linx is not a big surprise.
I know that you will learn and grow in the craft, and walk on your path.

I feel it represents my current stand point in the community as a whole. Also I feel that if someone (shadow walker) has divined their name to be some thing that you find to be a little odd, so to speak, that dosen't give you the right to dis him. I also feel that so far from my first 50 minutes on this site I can see a lot of hypocrisy amongst its members.

I got my name"sarama" in a dream, when I was 13. I currently have had another such dream. I have my whole life been drawn to wolves. My grandmother used to tell me thay were my spiritguides. I believed her and still do. Blessed be.

I haven't received my name yet. I have very vivid dreams and recently I've come close to being named. I wake with a sense of awe, or extreme saddness. Sometimes I wake extremely happy or with a strong sense of forboding but I wouldn't consider myself a 'dreamer'. I'll wait, my name will come to me eventually.
